Frankincense Products
Frankincense, the aromatic resin derived from various Boswellia tree species, boasts a rich history of human utilization spanning millennia. This precious substance has been employed both as incense and for medicinal purposes. Historical accounts suggest that it was presented as a gift during the birth of Jesus and have even been discovered in the tombs of ancient Egyptians. Notably, Queen Hatshepsut (1507-1458 BCE) is believed to have led an expedition to the ancient Land of Punt, in part, to procure additional reserves of this resin.
